MAJ TANZIE R. LANDRY-MCGEE

MAJ Tanzie R. Landry-McGee was born in Miami, Florida and was raised in Port Arthur, Texas.  She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Sciences from the University of Texas in El Paso in 1999 and a Masters in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma in 2003.  She enlisted in the Army in September 1990 as a Medical Specialist and later received her commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Quartermaster Corps in May 1999.  
MAJ Landry-McGee completed assignments as a Water Platoon Leader, Class 2/4/7 Warehouse Accountable Officer, Executive Officer, Chief of Supply and Services, Assistant Brigade S3, Battalion S3, Company Commander, Battalion Executive Officer, Sexual Harassment Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Program Manager, and the Deputy Director-Joint Visitors Bureau. She is currently serving as the Senior Army Instructor for Furr HS JROTC.
She deployed in various capacities in support of Desert Storm/ Desert Shield, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Joint Guardian.  She served honorably from 1990-2016.

SFC TONY THOMAS

SFC Tony Thomas attended Boddie Junior High and Baldwin High School in Milledgeville, Georgia. His extracurricular activities included wrestling, where he was a state runner-up and later became the United States and AAU National Champion. He was named the United States Greco-Roman Wrestling Coach of the year in 1994 and United States Greco-Roman Wrestling Espoir Leader of the year in 1995. SFC Thomas also served as an assistant coach on the 1996 United States Olympic Team coaching staff. SFC Thomas received his Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Troy State University in Alabama. He also served 22 years in the United States Army. SFC Thomas has served as a JROTC instructor at E. L. Fun and Phillis Wheatley High School. He also spent three years at John L. McReynolds Middle School as a LCDC instructor. He is currently the Associate Army Instructor at Ebbert L. Fun Senior High School.

Cadet success derives from the amazing support system provided by our instructors. Our instructors encourage young cadets to become involved in leadership and team building activities.
